The Tour Down Under with Lance Armstrong

Lance Armstrong is making his return to professional cycling in the Tour Down Under.

This 800km, six-stage race takes place in Southern Australia from 19 January.

Armstrong retired from cycle racing after winning his seventh Tour de France in 2005. In late 2008, he announced he was making a comeback.

Sharp Aquos 42

Sharp has launched new Aquos LCD TVs that have the built in Blu-ray player and are available in the 52 inch, 46 inch, 42 inch, 37 inch and 32 inch sizes.

The Blu-ray player is a slot loading mechanism and is on the top right side of the panel. This means these TVs are a little thicker than other LCD TVs. However, this is a small price to pay for the Blu-ray capability.

The Sharp Aquos models also have instant on and shutdown features when a disc is inserted or removed from the player.

All in all, this new series is an excellent addition to the Sharp TV range.
